Childbirth is something only a woman can experience and all women who have gone through it share a common bond. As any mother knows, childbirth is something you cannot fully understand until you actually go through it. No amount of detailing, storytelling, video watching or even in-person watching can accurately describe what delivering a child is like. 

Each woman’s childbirth experience is different from the next. Some may have long labors, while others may have short, very short labors. Contractions may be short, long or fast or slow. Pain may be excruciatingly intense or a wondrous, empowering feeling of control. It’s doubtful that any two childbirth experiences are exactly the same.

A woman who delivers a child cannot help but feel special, and she has good reason to! This delightful poem helps mothers remember the importance of what she has done, and that by delivering a child she is an ever-important mother. A mother to be respected, loved, cherished and treasured forever.
