Belly casting involves plaster gauze that is softened with water and then applied to Mom’s torso over a layer of lubricant. When the bandages harden and the cast has set (about 1 hour), it's easily removed and the belly cast is complete. A belly cast is most often hung on a wall, but it can also be displayed on a baby’s dresser, or used to hold baby socks and toys. It can be decorated or left in its original state. Either way, it's beautiful!
