Hisense Babysense V Infant Movement Monitor is the latest technology in protecting infants from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Babysense V monitors even the slightest movement a baby makes, all without touching baby. It comes with two sensor panels that fit under baby's mattress so monitoring is performed without touching the baby. The sensors are connected to a small, battery operated control unit that is clipped to the side of the crib, cradle, or bed. There is no connection to any electrical outlet. This monitor even includes a low-battery light that lets you know when the batteries need to be replaced (approximate battery life is six months).

The sensors monitor the entire crib area and if baby stops moving for 20 seconds or if movements slow to less than 10 micro-movements a minute, Babysense V will sound an alarm because time could mean life. Depending on the age of your baby, either the two sensor panels should be used together by attaching them with the included connector cord or only one panel would be used.

As newborns under 3 months old do not move from place to place while sleeping, install only one sensor pad without the connecting cable. This will ensure greater relative sensitivity.

For babies 3 months and older who are moving and crawling, attach the two pads with the included connecting cable so that the two sensor pads will ensure all baby's movements are monitored. This is suitable for infants up to age one.
