We love that the DVD offers exercises that are slow and manageable. The last thing an exhausted, over-tired mom needs to be doing is 100 crunches and a 30 minute kickboxing routine. Please. Who the heck has the energy for that on a regular basis? Those types of workouts may be fine after a few months, but when you have a newborn at home and your body is still trying to re-align itself after all that stretching and moving, it’s necessary to have a low-key exercise routine. Anything too intense may put additional stress on your body, not to mention that you probably don’t have that much stamina with all those sleepless nights!
So, just because you had the baby doesn’t mean you should put that birthing ball away. They make great exercise balls for keeping in shape any time. Plus, they are a ton of fun to use too!
