This unique child carrier doubles as a secure shopping cart seat for baby!

Babies grow fast--especially in their first year. This carrier is designed to adjust in both length and width to custom fit babies from 7 to 25 pounds. What is unique about the Oakkatots baby carrier is that mom or dad wears a harness, the baby is in a pouch, and the two are then connected. That sure makes putting baby down for a nap super-easy, as he or she can be removed two different ways, either by removing just the pouch or removing the entire carrier.

The Oakkatots Carrier is designed to give baby a wider seat than most popular types of carriers on the market today and as baby grows the seat grows with baby rather than getting narrower as it extends. Because the pouch part fits snuggly around baby there is more support for baby's back, particularly when baby is smaller and the pouch is contracted.

As your baby grows the carrier expands but still holds baby close. Once baby can hold both head and shoulders up and wants to engage more with the world, the head of the pouch can be folded down or baby can be turned around to face out. The baby remains fitted in the pouch which is simply turned around and reattached. When facing out, baby is still held close to the parent's body for support.
