Maya Wrap Ring Sling

Hi I'm Lisa. Today I'd like to talk to you about the Maya Wrap Ring Sling, by Maya Wrap.

For thousands of years the Mayan women of Guatemala and southern Mexico have worn their children slung on their hips or on their backs in a beautiful woven fabric. The Maya takes this tradition of baby wearing and offers it to the modern parent, in a redesigned Maya Wrap Ring sling, the gold standard in American baby carriers, for the last 10 years.

It is a hand loomed fabric, and it is extremely supportive, while also being lightweight and breathable. More than a machine loomed fabric. The shoulder has a lightly padded area here for added comfort. But the rails and the edges are not padded for its easy for allowing adjusting.

The unpadded open tail also doubles as a convenient nursing cover for when you're nursing on the go.

The Maya Wrap Ring sling allows you to wear baby's from newborns to toddlers in a variety of positions. All of which are demonstrated on this instructional DVD, which is included with the Maya Wrap Ring Sling purchase. It also includes a convenient built in pocket that is zippered here, that you can put anything from a diaper to your car keys to a cell phone, anything that you need when you're on the go and need to be truly hands free.

It comes in 3 sizes, small, medium and large. And you can check our website for exact sizing. Please note that if you're going to share the sling with two people, size up to fit the larger person, because these slings are completely adjustable with the ring, if it is too big, it simply just has a longer tail.

Maya Wrap Ring slings are machine washable in cold water, but they should be hung to dry.
