Large Menstrual Pads (or Postpartum)

The perfect reusable pad for postpartum use or for the full-figured woman. These extra-long pads measure 3" x 11" – offering more coverage and greater absorbency.

This pack includes six pads made from organic cotton flannel, and six inserts made from organic hemp. Both are made from all natural fabrics that were never bleached or dyed.

The cotton pads are soft and comfortable – and just as trim as a disposable pad. You’ll notice the softness on your skin and the trimness of the fabric. The hemp inserts are made with three layers of super soft, durable and absorbent hemp french terry. In fact, hemp is even more absorbent than cotton – and these hemp inserts will keep you feeling dryer, longer!

Directions: To use, simply place an insert into the pocket of the pad and fold wings around panties and snap to secure in place. It is recommended that the pad and liner be changed approximately every 4 - 6 hours. These versatile menstrual pads can be used for heavy flow (with a second insert) or regular flow (with one insert) and are thin enough to use as panty-liners when you remove the insert and use just the pad.

Care Instructions: Both the pads and liners are durable and easy to wash. They can be cleaned in the washing machine, just like clothing. To remove any stains, simply prewash in a bath of hydrogen peroxide or cold water. To launder, simply put in the wash with like-colored clothing. Then dry in the dryer or air-dry.
