Bellaband (New)
by Ingrid & IsabelDescription

Nothing seem to fit quite right?
The Bella Band was designed to work during your entire pregnancy to help expand your wardrobe. When you are first pregnant, wear the Bella Band over your unbuttoned pre pregnancy pants to help hold them up. Later, wear the Bella Band to help hold up your too big maternity pants or to help cover your exposed belly from shirts that are too short. The Bella Band can even be used after you give birth when your pants still don't fit quite right.
What makes it New?
Two key features:
- Stay-Put Silicon Strip provides more hold and keeps the Bella Band from riding or rolling up. A common complaint with the old style.
- Added Length for more coverage and versatility.
So what exactly is a Bella Band?
The Bella Band is a seamless knit band you wear at your waistline, over your unbuttoned pre-pregnancy pants, over slightly big maternity pants, or around the waistband of any maternity style that falls down around your hips. The Bella Band holds your pants up, disguising bulky unfastened closures or excessive fabric creating a smooth belly surface. Now, no one has to know your pants are undone or too loose.
If you're in your first or early second trimester, you'll love being able to wear you favorite pre-pregnant clothes longer. Just put them on without buttoning the top and let the Bella Band conceal everything - no one will ever know!
Wear the Bella Band concealed, or let it peek out from under your top for a layered look. If your top rises, it looks like a t-shirt or camisole -- not a funky device to expand your waistband or hold up your pants. Wear your non-pregnant pants a little longer and those cute maternity fashions a little sooner. Have more clothes to choose from during your pregnancy and after you give birth, enjoy getting dressed every day, and feel confident with how you look. You're pregnant! Have fun! Now go out and play.
Makes an absolute perfect gift to the pregnant girl who's always complaining about the fit of her maternity clothes. Ha - that's EVERY pregnant girl! She'll be thrilled to know she doesn't have to suffer wearing too-baggy maternity clothes or too-tight pre-pregnancy clothes anymore! The Bella Band makes everything fit just right!
Bella Band Fabric: 84% Nylon, 16% Spandex
The Bella Band with Lace
Same great BellaBand with a bit of lace for a feminine touch to your wardrobe.
Lace BellaBands are the same high-quality knit blend with an added touch of stretchy lace around the bottom seam in the same color. The beauty is that if you don't want the lace to show, just flip your Lace BellaBand upside down to hide it. Same great functionality, but with two ways to wear.
The Bella Band in Organic Cotton
Now available in organic cotton. Sustainability and better fitting clothes! Now that's a beautiful idea.
BellaBand Organic is made of 95% natural organic cotton - it's earth friendly and sustainable. Earth friendly means the cotton is grown pesticide-free so no synthetic chemicals release into our soil or water table. Sustainable means farmers use healthy soil by keeping it chemical free and rotating crops so their soil retains water, which means the cotton needs less watering to grow. As a bonus, cotton doesn't require harsh chemicals to break down its fibers to make yarn. Ultimately, this makes BellaBand Organic an eco-conscious maternity accessory.
BellaBand Organic does not have the new silicone strip and added length.

How to Wear a Bella Band
Newly pregnant:
Ideal with pre-pregnancy jeans, pants, skirts and shorts that are unbuttoned and even unzipped a bit. Wear any pre-pregnancy favorite as long as your bum and hips allow. At this stage, we like the Bella Band folded over adding an extra layer to disguise bulky unfastened buttons and zippers. It also adds strength to hold up your pants. Great with transition wear that may fall down around your hips if you're belly is still too small but enjoy the comfort of an expanded waistline.
Definitely pregnant:
Great with so many maternity styles. The Bella Band conceals excess fabric, smooths out panels and elastic waistbands, and holds up any style that may feel a bit loose. Great with any transition wear that may be tight - unbutton them to get a little more use! At this stage, the Bella Band works folded over or in a single layer... whatever feels good. It's also comfortable with drawstring pants that fall below the belly - the Bella Band holds them up!
So very pregnant:
Sometimes that belly pushes under-the-belly styles down around your hips. Use the Bella Band as an extra reinforcement over your maternity waistband. Try a single layer covering the belly and waistband if you want light support. Otherwise, double-layer over your under-the-belly waistband.
Recovering Belly Babes:
OK, so you can't leave the hospital in pre-pregnancy clothes (and if you can, we don't want to hear about it). Bring your Bella Band to the hospital. Wear with maternity pants that are too big and pre-pregnancy pants that can't fasten around your waist yet. You'll have more clothes to choose from, and feel better with it on. Nursing mom? There are fabulous new styles that allow you to nurse inconspicuously. For the days you don't have one of them on and need to lift from below, the Bella Band hides your recovering belly so you can feel better about how you look.

Sizing Guidelines
Every belly and body grows and recuperates differently. How the Bella Band feels on your body is very personal. So, consider these points when selecting a size:
General Fit
The Bella Band should fit comfortably snug around your growing waistline and hips so it can effectively hold your pants up, disguise unfastened jeans, skirts and shorts, and create a smooth belly surface. One size should last throughout your pregnancy and after baby.
Borderline Sizes
If your pre-pregnancy size borders Bella Band sizes think about how you like your pants to fit. Size up if you think a snug fit will bother you. Stay true to size if you want that extra support that a snug fit offers.
Too tight!
The Bella Band, while snug, should always be comfortable. If it's too snug and uncomfortable, try a size up. We want you comfy and happy, not miserable because it's tight AND you can't find anything to wear!
Pregnant with Multiples!
Women with multiples often say they feel more comfortable wearing a Bella Band than wearing nothing at all! The support alone can be a relief.
If you're pregnant with more than one baby, you will experience a drastic increase in size, but you'll start out just like everyone else... unable to button your pants! At first, try a Bella Band that's appropriate for your pre-pregnancy size. This may last you throughout your pregnancy. If it ever becomes too tight, consider buying an additional band one size larger for mid and late pregnancy. If you decide to size up immediately due to your size early in pregnancy, just make sure it will perform for you in the beginning.
